- (Posted on 17/11/2011)C3 Schuberth - matt blackI purchased this helmet because I wear glasses and suffer from eye watering due to wind. So far, I've rode about 400 miles wearing the C3 and the difference is amazing, I've been well impressed.
I never imagined I'd ever be wearing a lid that cost more than some of the bikes I've owned in years gone by, but the build quality and features are suberb.
It's like wearing ear earplugs too, my Moto Guzzi Griso has an aftermarket silencer, which sounds like it's purring when I'm on the move (but believe me, it's not...)
Up to now I haven't had the opportunity to test it in heavy rain, since placing my order I've seen some mixed reviews about the helmet's performance in the rain (leaking down inside of visor). Fingers crossed Schuberth have taken note since these problems were identified and rectified these issues.
